The NEW and improved CrossVent™ Arc Flash Hood designed by National Safety Apparel is now washable and lighter than ever before. Sixteen AA batteries have been replaced with two 9-volt batteries, and the fans are attached with FR hook and loop for ease of removal for laundering.

The innovative CrossVent™ Arc Flash Hood provides a gentle and quiet breeze that keeps you cool and decreases lens fogging.

Available with an optional battery operated headlamp that secures to the front of the hood with FR hook and loop.

The hood comes standard in a variety of materials: Choose from Indura Ultra Soft®, Protera™ and Nomex®/Kevlar®.

We have done the testing and now you can reach an Arc Rating of 40 cal/cm² by layering our Arc H20 Rainwear with our 7 oz. Indura Ultra Soft® garments.

What does this mean for you? You can now stay more protective than ever before by wearing 7 oz. Indura Ultra Soft® underneath our Arc H20 Rainwear. This still allows for a nice range of mobility along with excellent comfort while maximizing your Arc Flash protection.

National Safety Apparel is pleased to announce the High Energy Combo to the market. The Arc Goggle and Carbon X Combination offers an excellent Arc Rating of 45.8 cal/cm². The Arc Goggle in combination with the Balaclava provides superior flexibility, outstanding visual light transmission (VLT) and exceptional comfort.

The Carbon X balaclava is a triple-layer hood that is designed with a breathing chamber for increased airflow and holes for eye exposure only. The hood is designed for the arc goggle to be worn in combination and is an effective alternative to beekeeper hoods.

The Arc Goggle is designed specifically to address the requirements of Arc Flash Protection. The optically correct hard coated outer lens has an anti-fog inner lens with baffled top and bottom vents for increased airflow. An elastic strap comfortably secures the goggle to the head and hard hat.
