National Safety Apparel announces the launch of FR Performance Wear.

National Safety Apparel, a leading manufacturer and innovator of safety apparel and accessories, announced the launch of state-of-the-art technology called “FR Performance Wear”™. National Safety Apparel has included this cutting edge fabric in T-shirts, the liner of its Arc Flash Hoods and balaclavas as well as other innovative items.

The Introduction to FR Performance Wear™ brings many advantages and is the next generation of protective clothing. The technology behind FR Performance Wear™ is the Xstatic anti-microbial fibers that consists of extraordinary properties that help improve the protection and hygiene of safety apparel. The anti-microbial fabric prevents the buildup of harmful odor-causing bacterials including: Corynebacterium diphtheriae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiekka pneumoniae and Staphylococcus aureus even MRSA. With the moisture wicking technology, any perspiration that is released from the skin is immediately transported to the outside of the fabric, allowing you to stay fresh, energized and odor-free in more situations over a greater range of activities. Finally, FR Performance Wear™ is flame resistant and provides an added layer of protection for the wearer.

FR Performance Wear™ is NSA’s response to the ever changing safety apparel industry as well as worker’s continued desire to have increased comfort on the job. “National Safety Apparel is dedicated to innovation and is always looking to create new custom solutions for the safety industry”, said Duane Siders, VP of Marketing & Sales.
